My dilemna
« on: October 06, 2014, 02:49:01 PM »
Ok. So here goes.

I have property in the south of GMU 204. okanagon.

I love to hunt and fish..(one reason for buying the property..)

I get over there as often as I can...

4 to 5 times a year...between snows.

It has a dry cabin with 4 bunks a loft and a futon.

Also cooking facilities and heat..both propane.

My wife is all for me hunting...but not alone.

Problem being my work schedule.
I work in a place that runs 24/7/360
And rotating shifts...a week of grave..a week of swing... a week of days..constantly doing that rotation every week.

This year I get one day during mulie season near my place. that would be the last day...The 19th of October

I guess my dilemna is more of needing a hunting partner than places to go or honey holes.
I guess I am offering my facilities and place in exchange for the stories and the chance to make new acquaintances.

Long story short..if you are free the 19th..(i actually leave here...seattle..the 18th about 2:45ish..and drive there and get everything situated for the next day..heat and such.
If you are free and don't mind a 5 hour drive..and not many stories..I plan the 19th..and then 2 days during the late white tail season.

And if nothing else..
Thanks for reading this long winded post.

Thanks to all the replies.
I appreciate this forum for just that reason.

Also some pretty good fishing up that way as a side note.

Seems the plans may be nixed for this year as the wife has taken ill.
Keep you all posted.

Thanks again.

hunting your property or just surrounding pup land? I might be able to run up and hang out for the day. Depending on where it is, its not too far from my house.

Actually I like to hunt the national forest just south of my place.
About 35 minutes away tops.

If you do, perfect time to grab that shotgun. Be coming right through my area or at least close to it.
