Looking for someone who can do an elk euro with beetles
« on: November 26, 2014, 12:52:21 PM »
I have a bull elk head and I would like to get a euro mount done. Would like it to be done with beetles. Anyone near Snohomish county interested?

Maceration is just as good if not better then Beetles.   It is also something you can easily do yourself for the cost of a fish tank heater, bottle of dawn dish soap, and peroxide.

Suggesting bacteria maceration to someone who does not have the proper place or the knowledge how to do it correctly is a mistake. Its a lot more than just a bottle of dawn and some peroxide.  :twocents:

Does anyone do the "bury in the backyard" method anymore? Takes awhile, but works...

Pretty sure I am well versed on cleaning, degreasing, and whitening skulls.

I made the suggestion on a method.  If he was interested he could have asked for more information.

HA HA HA, it looks like an animal grave yard.  That pic gave me a good chuckle.  Ohh the practical jokes I could play with that in my yard.
