new dog! gwp
« on: April 12, 2015, 03:03:39 PM »
Adopted a year and a half old female gwp. She is papered and I've never had a dog so birdie. Very obidient and amazing in the house. An old couple had her and decided they couldn't give her the time she needed. I'm excited to put the time in and work with her. This is my first pointer. I've always owned labs. Enjoy the pics and more to come!

Those are cool dogs, I've always wanted to try that breed. I hope she works out well for you.

Alice @ Cooke Canyon may have a female GWP pup available, they're 3 weeks old now. Call her if you're interested.

Just got back from a shed hunting trio in Montana. Took her along for the hike and she pointing under almost every tree. I have a feeling she was chasing snow shoes. Met a guy at the postfalls cabelas that also owns 2 wire hairs and he mentioned how she was a great looking dog.excited to hunt her hard this fall for pheasants and chuckar. I'm thinking about having her bred in the next couple years as well.
