archery elk down. 5 years in a row.
« on: September 17, 2015, 10:47:39 AM »
Was able to get a shot at a cow yesterday morning about 9 oclock.  Gave her an hour before I started tracking she went about 150yds.  Shot was a little forward in the shoulder and only got 1 lung so she was still alive when I got to her so I put a 2nd arrow in her from about 35yds.  She jumped to her feet just long enough to take 2 steps and fall over again.
