Don't be unnerved by the amount of a ATV use there is in 43.    I was.

Also see if you can find any fire maps from this year.   I lost track of all the fires, but seems like I heard 43 had some big ones.   There might be a lot of black.

Shake it off, things have been a touch randy around here lately. Its like walking into a room full of people that have been arguing for the last 3 hours and ask " whats your thoughts on Global Warming?"

I don't have an info on your question but I'm sure you'll get some positive feedback, welcome aboard!

This year and/or last year I think.

Oh relax! It was a vague question. we do tend to joke around on here sometimes. If that comment offended you, you're in for a rough time. You might need to do something to cover up thin skin.
As to your original post. I'm not exactly sure where 43 is but based on this years fire season, if its in the western side of the state it had some burning this year. From Canada on to Nevada.. If 43 is open for wolf you might want to bring something to shoot one of those with too

It's pretty sad when the mindset with no posts no in put , no work, no scouting, no money for gas, maps, phone calls to bios, no weekend scouting, expects free handouts ....

So some questions for you. Why did you choose this area, what do you expect to get out of your hunt, how much time do you have to hunt?  :dunno:

No big fires in 43 the last 2 years, the trinity ridge burn from '13 oughta be in prime shape for hunting this year
