Who wants to go after some quail
« on: October 11, 2015, 07:53:30 PM »
Anyone in the Lincoln County area want to go after some quail and huns?  I have a decent little spot, and some time off work Wednesday through Friday this week.  If you want to go, shoot me a pm.

Well, hit a good spot today.  Got into some good quail numbers.  Forgot how bad of a shot I am.  Ran into a really nice guy out there, hunting over a 1 year old English setter.  Still in her training stages.  He invited me to hunt along with them.  We had a blast, and that's the first time I've hunted over a setter and the fist time with a dog in many years.  Now I remember why I love upland hunting so much.  Now time to get myself a GSP, if I can find one.

Godo luck to all headed out this weekend for any of the openers!  Shoot straight and put some meat on the ground!

My retired calendar has a problem keeping track of work days.   We could try next week sometime.
