2016 Planning
« on: November 01, 2015, 02:36:13 PM »
Trying to get an early start to make these plans.   2016 is going to be the wife and my first Elk outfitter trip.  I'm thinking that the options are Idaho, Montana, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.   We're already going to be putting in for WA special permits along with AZ permits so i'm keeping those two out of the running for now.   So if it were you - where would you go and with who ?  I realize that these may require drawing a permit but that's just part of the game. Thanks for any input on this.

it will be for rifle full guided.  Haven't checked in with Dale yet although he's on my list. Along with Two Bears.

I am also doing research for next year. A while back we did a sept rifle hunt for elk in Montana and had a great time. I shot a decent 5x6. Pm if you want some ideas
