Look forward to hearing how well you like it. Oh, and if you don't want to wait till the end of the month and go ahead and get one now, ya, I'm okay with that too.
Anyone shot or been around one of the ported model MP Shields from their Performance Center??I had little to no interest in one until I played with one the other day while I was doing paperwork on a G17 I just bought. The one I played with was just the standard version. I didn't even know they had a ported model from the Performance Center. I guess the trigger is a little lighter and maybe a bit more positive feeling. You can get it in 9mm or .40 and the ones I've found instock so far weren't to crazy priced, right around $450.If anyone has anymore information about one of these or better yet, some time behind one, I'd be grateful to hear your thoughts.

My model 60 with a 3" has got a real bark to it when I run a 357 round through it.
More info on them . They come with Hi-Viz sights f/r and a worked over trigger with around 5.5lb pull weight. Found one in both calibers at a local dealer for $499 plus there having a 10℅ off sale . Going to check my regular dealers this weekend and see what they can do for me

About the best I've been able to find for a .40 is $470+$6 for shipping then I'd have another $15 for transfer fee and sales tax on that so your 499-10% is a better deal. Was that for the .40 or 9mm???I'd kinda like to get the .40cal and put a 357sig barrel in it.
Couldn't wait any longer . Picked up the .40 cal version. $460 out the door. Ran 2 magazines through it when I got home. Its a little louder than a regular Shield .40 but not by much. The ports definitely help with muzzle flip .The Hi-Viz sights are alot faster to find than the stock Shield sights. Trigger pull is also alot lower than stock .Going to be alot nicer carrying this over my 1911's.
