Ccortez peaches archery elk hunt UPDATE 9/10/2016
« on: July 20, 2016, 02:42:02 PM »
Did some scouting a couple weekends ago that brought me into some great country in the wilderness. Hiked almost 18 miles in one day round trip. Then scouted a few other areas to get the lay of the land a little more.

Will be going up the weekend of the 30th and 31st to check trail cameras and to put a few more out. And check out a few more areas

Been working out a lot lately trying to lose some weight for this hunt as I found out quickly on my scouting trip that I'm way to out of shape  :chuckle:

To say I'm excited for this hunt is an understatement. been losing sleep over it and been buying new equipment just for this hunt

Nice pics!  I drew the tag as well this year.  I am also very excited- been practicing a lot.  Best of luck to you!

Good luck on your hunt man!
