Thank you for the great offer.

I need to make a spring fuller when I get time this fall and start more projects. Got to get my grinders finished up in the evenings when I get a few mins. Finally got the treadmill torn apart and re wired. Plus all my parts are here now, just need some spare time which is hard to find this time of year to bust them out.

My uncle found a "hammer" my grandpa made when he was smithing. He gave it to me. It's a handled hot cut in need of some TLC.  I look forward to putting it back in service.

Had a GREAT weekend.  Used a propane forge for the first day and a half and yesterday afternoon we forged in coke.  So hooked now.  Can't wait to get my shop set up and start improving what tiny little skill I have.  :)  One thing that was very cool, I ended up taking my class with John Huffsttuer, he lives 2 miles from me and back in the mid 2000s he was my Commander.  So it was fun catching up and learning from him.  Great shop and lots of fun.  I'll post some photos of the things I made tonight.  Anyone going to the Hammer In June 24th and 25th here in Spokane?

First piece ever forged.  Can you tell which rat tail was my first one.  :)

Made 2 other pieces, a fire poker and a fire poker hanger.

Sweet looks like a blast and catching up with a old friend is always great.

I hit the scrap yard/hole in the wall. I scored some stuff for junk yard projects/sculptures and then scored a big farrier rasp for 5.00!!!! That thing has a couple knives in it or one mondo knife. Was a good day :IBCOOL:
