Harvest Report Statistics
« on: May 11, 2017, 03:33:12 PM »
Does anyone have any insight into when the WDFW will release last year's harvest report statistics? All it says on the "important hunting dates" section of the website is "mid May". Would be nice to have those out before special permit deadline since it's helpful to have as reference information before locking in choices.

Thanks,

I talked to them yesterday and they said either end of this week or early next week.

It's crazy how slow they are compared to most of the other states.

these stats are just special permits right?  i cant imagine they are the general results too. only 6 bucks in the 124 unit were harvested last year?  i guess i feel very fortunate lol

There are results for both general seasons and special permits.

1762 antlered in 124. Got to look at the special permit and General combined section.

I wonder why the "sheep seen" and "goats seen" sections of the sheep and goat harvest reports list 0 for all of them.  I always thought this was kind of helpful when looking into those permits when they had numbers listed.
