Best Baitcaster gear ratio for tiger musky?
« on: November 27, 2017, 01:18:39 PM »
So I have a new 8 ft heavy action rod I am looking to get a reel for. This setup will be used mainly for musky maybe an occasional pike trip. I have a 5.4.1 and a couple 6.4.1 Baitcasters already. Was wondering if one of the faster reels (7.1 or 7.3 etc.)would be useful. I have three rods I use for musky two 7’6’ and now the 8’ just trying to pair rods and reels up. Any insight would be great.
