Alright guys.. like I said you can all thank Bone for me now wanting to come over to eastern and rifle hunt muleys instead of bow hunting blacktails! I have never hunted them before and no one has ever even taken me mule deer hunting.. soo... I need info! I figure I have a year to figure a lot of this out but any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm not looking for spots but just to know about their main habits and what to look for when hunting muleys. I figure glassing draws and such in eastern would be a good start. I will be making some trips this summer and placing cams just to see if bucks are in the areas I will be wanting to hunt. ok.. now time for me to go spend a ton of time on google earth looking for good areas. I'm thinking rimrock unit and the units close by to it but that can change!

I was thinking that myself how many of bone pics are out of state,Haven't you seen all the topics on mule deer being endangered. :chuckle: :chuckle:
Anyway plan on hunting hard ,and go for it.Goodluck!

It takes a long time to find an area that holds good bucks, then even longer to score on them. Trust me I know. My biggest is a 27” wife big three, but I have seen ones that would make him look like Bambi.  ;)
