Idaho units 33-35 for late muleys?
« on: July 19, 2018, 12:24:47 PM »
Anyone have any experience with Idaho units 33-35 for late buck? I drew a late muzzy tag this year, my first out of state hunt

Great tag.  They will be full swing.  The leaves will be gone and should be great hunt.
Good luck

Big steep country. Hope you've been conditioning :chuckle:  seriously though, not much weather and it does take a bit to budge those deer. Good luck

Get away from roads. Hike high and get back a couple ridgelines.

I've been applying for that tag and wondering the same thing. I just spent the last week of regular rifle season in there from the low elevation off the Banks-Lowman Rd north to Deadwood Summit plus some further east up Bear Valley -- mostly in 34/35. Slim pickens from what I found. I did see elk. Some deer sign. A few does. I'll PM you with some ideas.
