Hunting Harstine Island

My son and I are are thinking about hunting Manke property in the island. Anyone have any advise on where to go ?

Use OnX to make sure of the boundaries.  We shot a lot of nice bucks out there when I was a kid.

I ran into a make timber company employee recently and talked with him about non motorized land access and was told you need written permission to access any properties of manke ownership. Talked a lot about some properties having a lot of hunting pressure and even talking with the local game warden patrolling the area and never hearing about this. Since thsee lands were brought up in this post anybody want to chime in on the subject.

I called Manke Timber co. a year or two ago and was told they were open for non-motorized access except during fire restrictions.  I have never seen/heard a change to that.
