A buddy sent me some pics of that buck last week.  Looks big from front and back, but not when he turns.

Sad, this buck will be poached this year without a doubt. My folks live there and went to school there about 10 years ago.  A buck even bigger than this was in the same area around that time. Disappeared without a trace. Poaching in 11 and 11a is rampant and no one ever gets caught due to laxidazicle enforcement and it being socially acceptable. That area is very recognizable and his days are numbered.
