A 30$ visit to a foot doctor and $35 for a pair of semi custom insoles and all my foot issues went away. If your insurance will cover the doctor visit it's well worth the money.

Insoles really depend on your foot and gait, I would research that as what works for one guy would be misery for another.

This.

I use the Superfeet Merino, perfect match to my feet.  I'd say I have a medium arch.  They have a bunch of info on the site about figuring out what you have.

I have tried pretty much all the super feet insoles and I find them to be overpriced and overrated for my feet. I prefer the green ones from Fred Meyers and they are only $15-$20. I think they are made by Dr. Scholls.
