Western Washington deer locations, public land (modern firearm)

Hello everyone
First time hunter here
Can anyone of you share some interesting public places to find deer in western Washington (modern firearms) ? I'm open to any area in western Washington. I have seen the harvest reports for previous years but I think just going to a huge area without knowing any good places won't help. I visited Capitol peak area little bit for scouting purpose few weeks back but didn't find anything, of course the visit wasn't very thorough and well planned. Thank you

You're way behind the power curve. Google "Public Lands Map Washington State". There are a lot of results, but you only want .gov addresses. The others are trying to sell you maps. You can find a good map that allows you to zoom into an area of interest to investigate boundaries.
this a mapping tool that everyone seems to love, It's not free, and you may have problems getting your money's worth this season.

Chaz rings a bell, its just north of sodo. Joking, there is tons of public NF land on the west slopes of the cascades.

I wouldn't bother with NF lands. They stopped logging years ago so the food and deer are both all but gone.
