🤣🤣🤣 sorry but that HC choice stuff isn't fit for my dog to eat. It may be fancy and healthy but 🤮

None of that fancy stuff for me, MRE's are fine. But I preferred the old C-Rats for taste and better t-paper. And you could string the cans around your tent and listen if you had critters lurking around.  :chuckle:

First world problems but those and the Alpine Aire taste like seasoned scat. Still makes no difference when your body is eating itself.  :chuckle:
Just tend your own and live.

Backpackers Pantry Chicken Pad Tai is one of the best freeze dried meals I've ever had. Highly recommend.

I don’t know Karl...I’ve tried them all for 4-10 days at a time and taste isn’t very far off from each other. Here’s the key: Peak was named for a reason; I ate it for 5 days straight and was finally able to make a trip hazard. I had to move to a higher log; hence”peak”.

That's the truth there.  Couple that with MH Biscuits and Gravy and a guy needs no more.

I actually think all the brands make some good stuff and some nasty stuff.  I avoid eggs like the plague and don't like the spaghetti/chili/mac by themselves or together.

I remember MH biscuits and gravy were the bomb

Then I had so.e few weeks ago, newly bought from Cabelas and it was crap.

Dunno if it was from me doing keto for a year or if they changed it, made them cheap.

On a side note I got into my harvestright sample of scalloped potatoes and holee shire it was good!

Any of the spicy stuff gives me horrible heartburn, like puke it up heartburn my throat is on fire with acidic bile heartburn.

Chili mac, southwest mesa etc
