Archery West Side Hunting Partner Needed
« on: July 26, 2021, 12:08:49 PM »
Hey Gang, the guy I hunted with for part of the week last year drew for Nile unit this year and I already have my western archery tag. I'm going to rent a 17 or 18 foot trailer and hunt near Indian Heaven again. If anyone would like to join me, please speak up. I'm planning on going up around the 9th and staying until the 18th or 19th. You're welcome to share the trailer that I'm renting. If you want to pitch in, that's fine. I'll be putting out a few cams ahead of time to try and narrow down the prospects. Any takers?

I'm 63, not in terrible shape and don't think hunting is great without at least another person in camp. If you already hunt with a group of guys on the wetside and I could join, I'd look at that too. Let me know! Thanks,
PMan

No camps with space for another? I'm a good guy to have in camp and I cook my butt off.

They mess up this whole new draw for  archery elk over here, I will hunt with ya next year If I canít draw a eastside tag.
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

I would have taken you up on it in a heart beat since I got a multi season tag but I got drawn for a quality eastside tag for the same time.

I'm opting out of archery this year or I'd take you up on this, Dang! I haven't put in the work, best not to fling arrows until I do.

I'm pretty new to hunting and this year will be my first elk hunt, 26 years old and would be willing to meet up with you if you'd like. I was planning on hunting 560 and have set some cams and gone down there on a few scouting trips, but I wouldn't mind hunting Indian Heaven at all either. I planned on solo hunting but like you said, I feel like it would be a lot better to have someone else to enjoy it with. I'd definitely be willing to throw down on the costs too, but if you don't want to go with a new hunter I totally understand as well.

If I hadn't already paid to play on Weyerhaeuser land I would definitely be interested. Looks like I'll be doing the solo thing again this year.

Congrats guys on connecting and hope for you guys to have a great future hunting partner to go with. Look forward to this years hunting story adventures. Good partners are hard to come by and trust. Treat each other well and enjoy this years adventures. Gain a great partner and may success come your way.
