Spokane area hunting help
« on: October 14, 2021, 02:58:41 PM »
I am looking for some direction as to where to take a couple boys deer hunting Saturday. I am from the west side and know nothing about east side hunting. My brother in law passed away yesterday leaving behind a wife and 8 kids. A couple of the boys ages 11 and 15 have been looking forward to deer hunting. So if anyone is willing to give me pointers on where I can take them out Saturday, it would be greatly appreciated. Saturday will be the only time I can take them out due to funeral plans.

Thanks Mike

Sorry to hear that痴 rough for the family.  On short notice Blanchard road is a great spot to start with tons of state and timber land either side of the road. Download OnX maps, they probably have a free trial. Set up the public lands and private access layers and you値l see a bunch of state land and huntable timber land all over. You値l be seeing other hunters too of course.

Trying to think about where that's at.
I do know there was a road over that way ,that you turned on . But you drove all the way to Blanchard Idaho,up the highway a few miles, turned left and the old dirt road would take you back into Washington. Through the woods of coarse, this was long before onx that I was around that I was up there.
