Rattling Mule Deer

Yeah, I guess it works.   This buck was travelling and I was trying to cut him off when all of a sudden he stopped.

Then I heard the antlers slam together of two pretty good sized bucks.   He instantly trotted forward and then came to full attention

They slammed together again and off he went full speed.

My great grandma always carried 2 peices of antler in her pockets, she would pull them out and “ bang” them together every once in awhile, I remember asking her one time ( when I was little), what are you doing grandma? She would reply, “ trying to make the deer mad at me”🤣 Thanks for the pictures bone, every once in awhile they conjure up some great memories👍
