Where to??
« on: May 07, 2009, 10:10:20 PM »
So I live in Vancouver, WA and I am starting to get into hunting.   :hunt2: I would really like to go shed hunting.  Anyone know of a good area to go to and search for some?  Anything would help.   :)

Thats about the best answer you can expect.  That and shoe leather.  Can't find them when you are on the couch.  Lots and LOTS of miles.

I know where....but you cant get in on the roads yet, usually a few snowed in roads still...  I hope......   :o

Buckstalker, best bet is to take a few road trips in the dead of winter, see where the deer are hanging...then back track them into higher country....very often they drop them at different elevations along these areas...some years I find none in my spots...others years a bunch....it is not easy.

Not many guys will post 'this road...or that ridge..."

Julia Buter hansen reserve.........Skamokawa

No public access to that Reserve except along the perimeter road.  You can't walk around out there so don't even think about it.
