Saw a few nice bulls on public last year. He shouldnít have an issue filling a tag if he sticks with it on state land.

It's pretty split. I has the Toutle tag last year without Weyerhauser pass and was able to get a nice bull down on public land. I would recommend buying a walk on permit, those are easy to get and there are a couple gates that no motorized vehicles are allowed past. Those are great hunts.
thanks!  So ebikes are allowed then since they are non motorized! Appreciate the info!!
Weyerhaeuser considers them motorized and you need their $350 permit.

😆.        Wait for itÖ..

You can ride the ebikes on the motorized section of the tree farm but they are not allowed in the walk-in areas. You have to use a pedal bike then.

There used to be public access on the south side by the intersection of the 81 FS rd and the Cougar Rd (503?), on the west side of 81 going north. Not sure of that section's status now.

My dad drew a Toutle tag, so hopefully he gets a gate key now!
