Better look at the rules. You canít legally take a moose in accordance with the written rules. Deer and elk only. Itís all BS tho. Tried to convince a game warden to let me salvage a bear a few years back that was hit. I truly had no need for the meat, hide or skull and even offered to tan the hide and donate back to WDFW for education purposes and it was still a no, even offered to notch my tag on itÖ.I just hated to see the meat go to waste, just wanted to process it and give most of it away to friends. Wish they could amend the rules to include bear and moose!

He also said legally. Just because your neighbor knows a warden and let him do it doesnít make it legal.
