I got my email yesterday.   If only I could have got it one week later so I could finish early muzzleloader.  Not sure if I want it anymore.

If I buy it does it take my points away?

Approximately half of the tags were issued on the 1st leftover drawing. So if this trend continues I would say there will be about 600-700 tags leftover after the second round. Maybe more since the archery season will have already started at that point and people will have made other plans. 10 days to buy your tag is 5 days too long in my opinion. This process is painfully slow and obviously there was little thought put into this with the limited time left before the opener. Par for the course when it comes to dealing with WDFW.
So by my math if this trend continues I figure it will take about 11 more rounds to sell out of the MS deer tags, give or take not taking into account the human factor. This will take us out into about the first week of January. Good job WDFW.

:yeah: I have 14 points for MS elk and cant even get a tag on the 3rd or whatever offering they are on now. So it makes me wonder what those weighted points actually get you since I am literally the only person who has never drawn the tag that has put in ever year since they started offering MS.

Buddy of mine drew MS elk but he’s not going to buy it since we’re 5 days into the season and he had no way to plan. So there’s one more tag up for grabs.

I think you used the key word. It is dragging you to the bottom.

Probably so your sunk to the bottom and they keep just reaching in and grabbing from the top! Pretty crazy I have had it once in all the years since it’s started.

Would buy a deer multi right now if I was given the chance.  Bad decision by WDFW for an agency so focused on the $$$ :chuckle:

Had to pass on two legal bucks due to WDFW’s mismanagement of our resources. WDFW literally taking meat off of my family’s table. Frustrating!!
Good luck to all who are fortunate enough to draw.

Any word on if they are going to do another round, and if so, when?
