Yeah I got mine too, I have till the 22nd.

Iím tempted to call WDFW and ask for a prorated price, although I know the answer to that question.  Iíll hunt this week, if I donít seal the deal Iíll probably be a sucker and make the purchase in order to extend my hunting season as long as possible.

The way this whole thing was handled is real disappointing, to a lot/all of us, itís also disappointing that they donít care what a bunch of dirtball outdoorsmen thinkÖ At least it seems that way  :dunno:

It IS silly and seriously pisses me off... But like I said, I'll be a sucker so I can hunt late archery season if I cant seal the deal this week.

Theyíre done as in sold out, or theyíre done trying to sell the leftovers?

Sounds like anyway they did it in previous years would be better than the way they did it this year and left money sitting on the table and hunters on their couches

agreed, There are some of us that buy it mostly to extend seasons when needed and might still buy it.
In God we trust, all others bring cash.

Do not say, Why were the old days better than these? For it is not wise to ask such questions.

I've said it a million times and I'll say it a million more, charge the full tag cost up front when applying and no refunds if drawn. They sell all their tags, no one has to mess around with trying to buy a leftover OTC in August, they avoid this whole debacle they've put themselves in this year and it will weed out those not serious about wanting the tag and the guys who really want it will be rewarded. Problem solved 100%.
