HAT TRICK
« on: June 06, 2023, 04:48:30 PM »

Anybody have a Hat Trick in Washington which is:

Moose
Mountain Goat
Sheep

I have the moose and goat.  I feel lucky to have them. Having said that, bring on the any ram tag

A good friend of mine has had both of his moose tags (bull and cow) and his goat tag. All OIL (except for the cow moose). He got his sheep through the central raffle bundle and has had the bull moose raffle tag twice. Some guys have all the luck or $$?

Lucky sap got drawn for a MT moose tag this year and has gotten his ID OIL bull moose tag as well!  Geez

Completed the hat trick in 2014 with a goat tag. Pulled a sheep tag in 99 and a moose tag in 2001. Hoping for a ewe tag I can pair it up with my ram.

0 oils...

I'd sure like a bull moose. The tag I think I could get filled and have a book quality animal is a Ram tag.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Congrats, great achievement.  I would think anyone starting within the last 5-10 years would have about a 0.0001% chance of drawing all three tags, much less filling them.

Maybe the "new" Hat Trick should be a spike elk, second deer tag and poacher points?

Congrats! I'm not that lucky to get drawn for those but I have done a hat trick of my own 3 times.  Deer/bear/and elk all in the same year, 7 years apart.

I guess I should scan a couple of old pictures and assemble a photo shoot.  I have goats from 1972,1984, and 1996….a ram from 2014, a bull moose from 2015, and a ewe from 2019.  I’m still hoping to get another goat for my OIL ( they weren’t OIL until 1997)

And look how much the hunting clothing changed from 99 to 14.  Went from Jeans to Sitka.  Congratulations on 3 nice animals.
