WWSF WASHINGTON ROCKY RAFFLE

Here is your chance to hunt Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep in some premier sheep units in SE Washington.   
Cost is 20.00 a ticket with a July 7 deadline.   The winner last year killed a beautiful mature ram.

Proceeds continue to help bighorn conservation in our state.

I am in full support of the Raffle tags and love the money that it brings in for conservation but.... I do not see the point in even trying or buying a few tickets.  The chances of drawing with the tags being gone after by some wealthy individuals that are buying up over 50% of the proceeds to tilt the drawing odds in there favor makes me not even interested.  If I ever get to the point in life to be able to afford to do the same I would, not knocking the fellas that are paving the way for conservation its just hard for me to donate knowing I have no chance of drawing...

Bear Hunter:     Not true.....My example is Gringo who I believe won the Cali tag a few years ago with a whopping 1 raffle tag    
You may have a point that some fat cats put in a lot of cash.  That does not always work out in a tag. It does however help fill the coffer for sheep management
My point is sometimes the average joe cashes in bigtime on these type of raffles.

You don't have to break the bank but one $11.50 raffle tag was the winner out of 3802.  Probably as good or better of odds than the cost and 20 points I have in OILS that I've never been drawn for.....

But you just said you put in for OIL tags and that is nothing but luck.  Have a better chance of a raffle tag then a special permit.
