Seeing 11 moose sounds like a great start.

That’s great you saw 11 moose in this weather , my wife had the early 49 degree north bull tag when they did the draw then ended up with the late huckleberry tag after the drawing screw up .

Yea I was more than surprised went into it think I was going to spend July and august burning gas and learn roads, then try to really hone in on a bull through sept. But seeing them today just fueled the excitement I can’t wait for the next trip.

Got out again over the weekend was hoping cooler weather would keep them up longer but didn’t help. They were bedded by about 6. Got to see four bulls and put a decent amount of miles on after they bedded learning roads.

Got out Saturday. Cold, rainy, windy and foggy really felt like fall and made the excitement run high. Saw a few bulls and a few cows.

Pretty crazy to think in 96 short hours I’ll be lacing up my boots for the chance to fulfill a lifetime dream. Haven’t seen “the bull” yet, but keeping spirits high. These last few hours will bring a whole lot of looking into bull sighting tips and looking over the areas we know bulls will show up in. Really is pretty crazy how something like this will bring people who’ve never known each other together like they’ve been friends since grade school. The hunting community is an amazing place more of a family than some actual blood relatives. I’m really going to try to stick to my goal of shooting the biggest bull our populations will give with my bow. For now a huge thank you to all of you on here that have helped and will be helping through this adventure, I really can’t put into words how thankful I am for this opportunity and the help hopefully I can do everybody proud and the tag justice.

Been kind of a slow start seeing dinky bulls and cows. Got the opportunity to help a bull and cow tag holder fill their tags and in the process of helping a second bull tag holder fill the tag. The quest for a monarch with my bow continues as the rut activity pics up, been somewhat running by myself so far but the helper eyes begin to show up tomorrow and by the weekend should have a good number of eyes in the woods. Got to see a respectable bull in person tonight and saw pictures and got a location on a bull that will need to get a closer look before the decision is made. I think I may have found a new love in the hunting world these creatures are absolutely amazing, it’s a real shame we only get to hunt one.

There is two impressive bulls up there ,that I know of.
Where they are at today ,I couldn't tell ya. From what I've seen of the course of the summer. There is two up there, that are shooters for anyone. They are BIG.
Goodluck on the hunt,I was up there last weekend. Lots of muzzy hunters and no grouse seen.
