Rimrock cow tag holders
« on: June 18, 2024, 05:25:53 PM »
Hello everyone
Well my wife , brother , disabled uncle, and myself all drew rifle cow tags this year in the rimrock. I have spent time in the unit where it borders cowiche. So scouting is gonna be a must. Im really hoping for my wife’s first big game animal so I’ll be putting in maximum  effort. Any tips or focus points shoot me a pm. I’m going to put up a dozen or so cams and will gladly share my findings with any bull tag holders as well

My dad had the Bull tag in the Rimrock last October... You will have no problem finding elk. Yakima herd numbers are solid right now.

Early weather and snowfall will play a role as to when the elk will begin pushing over Divide Ridge into the Cowiche. Best of luck to you!
