Huckleberry Cow Moose
« on: July 16, 2024, 03:10:20 PM »
So, I was fortunate or (not so fortunate) enough to draw a Bull Moose for Kettle as well as a Cow Moose for Huckleberry this year. I just turned in my cow permit. I was hoping to hear if any of you on here get the call! I just want to make sure it goes to someone!

Never really thought of that. Did you double check and ask for sure that you couldn’t harvest both?  :dunno:

Yes the first person I talked to said I could harvest both. Then I called again and they said only 1 Moose tag per year. I was gonna turn it in either way.

With the cluster that they had this year and all the extra moose tags given out, I seriously doubt they will reissue cow tags. At least I would hope not.
