March Commission Meeting
« on: March 22, 2025, 09:20:32 PM »
How'd it go? I wasn't able to watch and haven't seen an update on it yet. What did the commission have to say about the Ruckelshaus report? What was their vibe/decision on cougar and bear seasons for this year?

Self righteous denial.  Really odd, also the scientist that conducted the study seemed to capitulate when pressed on the word dysfunction.

Listening to the lady blab about how they are a "functional" committee was kinda boring but let us know their mindset..

Not surprising that they don't agree with the report.

What is the status of bear and cougar season? Did they say they're going to adopt what WDFW recommended or are they deviating from that?

Even with 90% opposition to their science based policy the commission is still trying to shove it down our throats. Seems the. Tribes are for it with a few tweaks here which isn't surprised since they pretty much do as pleased.

IMO they are setting up to do whatever they want when it comes to bears and cougars. the questions they were asking and the looks on most of their faces really answered alot of my questions as to what they will do.
