1991 Honda Cub EZ90 Project
« on: May 10, 2025, 06:50:25 PM »
Yo dudes!! I ended up obtaining a 1991 Honda Cub EZ90 dirt scooter for $free.99....!

Anyone on here familiar, or have one? I've torn it down pretty good, polished up the plastics and got new stickers on eBay. New battery in hand, fresh spark plug... drained gas and oil reservoir, and now I'm looking at the carb thinking about what I should do. New OEM parts for this thing seem hit or miss to come by if it's not a universal Honda bit they use on other motorcycles, so I'm trying to get this thing running decent without spending a ton of money.

I'm going to get it running decent before I put all the plastics back on, but the last thing I am staring at is the carb. I'm half afraid to pull it off because of the lack of gasket/diaphragm replacements out there, but I feel like I should do something since it's easily accessible right now. Additionally, I'm not quite sure what oil to get for it since it's a 2 stroke with an oil injector and doesn't take premix.

Any opinions or suggestions requested on this whole shebang! Want to rip this to the mailbox sometime in the next month or two.   :IBCOOL:

I will note, this bike hasn't ran since probably 2008-ish? The previous owner put new rings in it and then it sat..  :dunno:
