Surprise quality deer tag

Son got a quality deer permit in the mail yesterday, was previously not selected so we are guessing someone turned theirs back in?  Thanks to whoever gave up the Packwood quality deer !

Sweet, glad to know that when a tag is turned in they do reissue the tag to someone else. Just out of curiosity they didn’t email you before? It just showed up?

I asked him about any email.  He said no but wdfw may not have his current email.   Hopefully they would reach out   Good reason to update your email with them I guess
