Any word on the lower skagit for salmon? Seems early but I’ve been tempted to go troll some herring at the mouth of the river right on the fresh/salt boundary line

The river and 8-1 opens this weekend for salmon so by no means a report based on having fished it. River clarity is pretty poor from glacial runoff. Been watching seals nail fish on the flats. So they are definitely around. Humpies usually peak in a couple weeks.
