Thought I would post this here as well.  Eastern Oregon cell cam video from earlier this morning.  Not sure if the elk lived or not.  There is another short clip after this one I am waiting for it to download that might let us know what happened.

I gotta believe that spike escaped. Only 8 minutes later and the cougar family seemed like they were headed in the opposite direction. I would think it takes at least 8-10 minutes for a cougar to fully dispatch an elk and probably longer than that even.  Hopefully the spike lives to see another day! Really cool vids though, thanks for sharing!
