Limb Saver STS

Put it on my Hoyt and it cut down on the noise and shock dramatically. Instalation was relatively simple. Took a few attempts to get it to work with the stabiliser and wrist sling but in the end it all was good.

I think I should have just saved my money and applied it to a new bow. The nock travel is so bad on this thing I don't know if we are going to make it work. Sheesh, I had it shooting bullets then took it apart to serve the string and Icarumba!

I put one on my Reflex and also noticed quite a difference.  Even my wife, who was sitting in the truck while I shot, said she couldn't believe how much more quiet my bow was compared to a guy shooting next to me (who BTW, was shooting a Hoyt  ).

I bought one last spring but haven't gotten around to installing it. I found it in the bargain bin at Cabela's without a package (in a ziploc bag with hardware) for only $7.

I was thinking of putting it on this week after I just changed to new arrows. Without an install guide, it seems easy to put on. Does the 'butt' or black rubber piece just get slid back until it just barely makes contact with the string? Or should it be just a fraction away from the string?

I think they are suppose to be 1/16 " from the string. They work awesome!!! My buddie just thanked me again for talking him into putting one on his Drenlin last summer!!!

The brace height on my bow is only 5 1/4 inches and it was difficult to keep the string from nicking my wrist. Since installing the sts it has kept the string off my wrist.

They are awesome, I have the oringinal STS on my Hoyts, as far as hitting your wrist, regardless of brace height, if your grip/form is correct you should never hit your wrist......

They are definitely worth the investment.  I added one a couple months ago and it has helped significantly.

I agree hoyt. If I adjusted my stance while shooting I would eliminate wrist slap. But of course Youb always tend to revert back to those old habits.
