I like to jig for them so i can catch and release. Bait works great but you have to keep every one you catch. End up going home real quick.
Same here spoons with barbless hooks makes it easy on fish and legal to release them.
What type of spoons do you use over there? I'm taking the boat over in Feb and I want to be able to cnr some fish. Thanks.

Luhr Jenson Hotrod Wobbler
Going fairly slow just fast enough to give it a good wobble.
Caught one on a rooster tail the otherday also.

I see bear tracks every time I go over there. in fact they don't want you leaving the guts in the dumpsters because of bears this year.

I didn't think there would be any bears out and about this time of year....shouldn't they be in their winter dens? :dunno:

I'll get rid of any of their problem bears if they want! :chuckle: they should have excellent hides this time of year!

The pens are on the Res...no hunting.  They do have cameras on them, it's amazing how many people try to  catch fish out of them!  :P
The orchards on the res are a huge bear attraction.
