Went the other day fishing was kind of slow but it was a crappy day and I got there kind of late. Got my limit but took awhiel.The trip before that though was fun and quick. I usually use barbless hoooks on lures to make it more fine trying to hook em and keep em on. Usually loose one atleast so it keeps you fishign longer.

I'm going over in a couple of weeks, just wondering if anyone has ever tried plug cut hearing trolled behind a flasher there. Just wondering if I could target bigger fish that way.

Biggest I have caugth this year is a 25 inch 8 pounder. Its kind of luck of the draw of what bites your hook. I dunno if that herring would work or not

Same here spoons with barbless hooks makes it easy on fish and legal to release them.

Nope. They get fed year round. Just get over close to the pens and you should catch em year round.

Going fairly slow just fast enough to give it a good wobble.

A bunch of  fish got let loose so just about anything works on right now especially since its winter and not as much feed. Its like a feeding frenzy. Theyw ill probabaly bite anything. I heard a bear was ripping up pens.

I see bear tracks every time I go over there. in fact they don't want you leaving the guts in the dumpsters because of bears this year.

I didn't think there would be any bears out and about this time of year....shouldn't they be in their winter dens?

My dad was telling me from what he heard they thoguht somebody was ripping open the pens on purpose to let fish loos, but then they put a camera out and it was a bear getting into them trying to get fish.

I'll get rid of any of their problem bears if they want! they should have excellent hides this time of year!

The pens are on the Res...no hunting.  They do have cameras on them, it's amazing how many people try to  catch fish out of them! 
The orchards on the res are a huge bear attraction.
