Found a few
« on: December 03, 2009, 08:15:11 PM »
Took the pup out for a mid morning trip to the Snoqualmie valley. All the sheet water was frozen and after clearing out a small pond, the wigeon were all over it. Dog loved the action today and is starting to figure out duck hunting after spending most of the fall chasing Pheasant.

I did see a few more birds flying today than expected, and one large flight of honkers went by about noon.

Hope ya all have some good hunting this weekend. I'm going to chase some steelhead for a change :)

Cheers!

Yeah that's what we been getting out there a lot of wigeons. Good job on the shoot. The candians been acting wierd up there compared to last year. Doesn't seem to be as many green heads as last year either. Ah they'll come. Of course we had a lot of water in the fields last year compared to this year. You hunting between Duvall-Carnation or Fall City-Carnation?

Man I cant believe you would shoot ducks on grass. I'm sure that's not legal. Did you have your cell phone in your pocket? If so um... that's an electronic devise and that's not legal either. From the position of your decoys I can tell that you put them out at 0358. That is 2 whole minutes before it is legal to do so. I bet you were shooting those ducks with a .338. The regulations clearly state that with a  Blaaaaaa Blaaaaaa Blaaaaaaaaaaa Blaaaaaaaaa Blaaaaaaaaa  Blaaaaaaaaa :chuckle:

Sorry I just wanted to rant about something completely ridiculous and unrelated to your thread. It seems to be going on allot lately.

Nice shooting keep it up. That is a great looking dog you have.
