boat motor
« on: February 19, 2010, 09:48:16 PM »
Hey guys! I am looking for a motor for my boat. It's an 18.6 lowe roughneck. It has a 50 hp evenrude on it but I'm looking for something like an 80 or 90 hp outboard. Any body know who might have a good used one?

You might look on line and do some searches. A buddy of mine found some good deals when he was looking. He purchased one used that was local to him from a shop. It lasted a few weeks. He now owns a brand new Yami 4 stroke fuel injected 90hp. he really likes it on his 17' Arima.

I had another buddy that found some good prices on re manufactured engines with warranty. might be a good way to save some money and still get a good motor with a warranty. If yer intrested I will get the info for where he found them.

sounds good to me Kris any info will help. I really don't want to buy a new motor but if the right deal comes along, and I can sell the 50hp then I'd seriously consider it. Thanks for your help! Donny

P.S. I know were there is some state land, as well as stimpson lumber company land with turkeys on it if your interested.

Very intrested!!! I sent you a PM a few weeks ago. I am going to try and go clam digging next weekend to start getting some stuff ready for you.

Called my buddy yesterday and am waiting for him to call back.

Check out this web site.  If you don't see what are looking for give them a call.  I had good success with them a couple of years ago.
