weather and spring bear
« on: April 08, 2010, 11:22:44 AM »
For all of you who have had tags on the westside, any thoughts on how the weather impacts bear movement and sightings?  I.e. do the bears tend to move more when we get a warm spring day or does it not matter whether its pouring buckets or just a decent day?

I am interested also, as I have heard that they really don't care one way or another, I mean after all they live in the stuff....
I have also read that a nice warm spring afternoon will bring them out......
The most common answer I have gotten is, especially a nice warm and dry afternoon after it has been raining for a while..
No matter what immediately before and after a storm is a good time....
So basically I understand that they will be out any time you see one..... :chuckle:

I can 100% guarantee they will be out... when you see them.

Great!  Now I know, I need to look when I see one and it will be out then.  This has been weighing heavy on my mind since I found out I was drawn. :chuckle:
