Arrowed a varmint
« on: April 13, 2010, 11:11:39 AM »
I have been chasing these things around the house with the gamo shadow cat lately, but I changed up and grabbed the bow. I shot this 1 today at 36 yards, he was just standing on top of his mound, I could not resist

How good did he taste?

We were coming out of E'burg along the river on the old road and those  (similar) things were all over the place on the road, licking the salt from the previous day that the road crew threw down I think.

Man there were a lot of them and then they ran back to their hidey holes as we drove by.

I figured marmot, but not sure.  they had black tails and black on their face.

Nice shot. But no pass through at 36 yards? Did it bury in the dirt or is that one tough varmit?
