my dad and i are heading to lyons ferry to  fish catfish june 4,5,6th , and i noticed some of you will be there also.i've never fished for these and could use some help.i'm bring a boat ( 19ft northriver)
    what type of anchor? 
    size hooks
    size lead
    bait (does cut herring work)
    will springers be open?

  I Posted what i usually use out the for cats and walleyes, not that it is the gosphel, but has worked in the past, i am told the fishing in the palouse at least is really good

Never fished them on the east side, but from what I know about kitty fish is the stinkier the bait the better, as much lead as will keep you on the bottom, and use a decent sized hook to keep the small ones off.
