If my wife ever saw these pictures, I'd never be able to shoot a coyote again!  :chuckle:

Those are cute little buggers. I don't even blink an eye when shooting a coyote but I don't think I could draw down on one of those little guys.
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

I must be pretty cold-hearted because all I see is the hundreds of grouse and pheasants those little guys would eat during there life.  I would have no problem with helping out the bird population.

Nice pics VV.  I love whackin' predators of all kinds, but pups or kittens of any species aren't on my list.

We have issues every year with coyotes killing calves. I try to give em a break in the spring when they have pups. But if I catch coyotes messing with cattle, they get a dirt nap.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

I was out checking hay with my bro in law a couple of years ago ans saw one mousing in the field. hopped out of the truck and let a round loose from the 06 thinking he was 350 yards off or so. I did that once more and my bro said I think he's at 200 yards. So i put the cross hairs Right on him and he folded over... I walked out 200 paces and there was the coyote... I think my range estimation was off cause he was only 15lbs.  :chuckle:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

This was the third time I had seen them during the day, the folks were out mousing while the kids were napping.  I slipped in got the pics and slipped back out nice and quiet.  The mom let me get within 50 or 60 feet of her that morning with the tractor.  For some reason tractors really don't bother the coyotes.  Until you stop.   :chuckle:
