Anybody see any moose in the Teanaway? I just got an email with a picture of a moose off the River road.

Not that surprising given these reports.

The habitat down the Cascade front is great for moose, until you get a ways south of I-90 where you get into the oak and more open area.

I have a great photo of a bull that I took on sept. 1 last year, however I cant seem to be able to post it, while archery deer hunting we came face to face, around 30 yards, stood there for about 2 minutes, long enough for me to dig out my camera and smap about 10 shots, it keeps telling me the file is to large, any ideas?

I just sent you a link to a tool to resize pics. Easy to use. Let me know if you have any questions.

You can resize with Microsoft Picture Manager. Real easy to do. Email the picture to me if you want, and I can do it. Let me know if you want my email address and I'll PM it to you.

There's no reason why there shouldn't be if they're showing up in Wenatchee.  There is ample corridors for moose to get into the Teanaway.  I would like to see them out there as well as areas like pete lake, cooper lake and the higher mountains around lake cle elum and Kachess.  There is good habitat (may not be a ton) in those areas.

Yep, I saw a cow opening day of turkey season this year up there, When I stopped to get my camera out she ran. No one in camp believed me but they all saw the tracks.
