Late Archery Chiliwist Tag
« on: June 23, 2011, 05:14:11 PM »
Good news is I was drawn for the late (nov. 21-30) archery deer tag for the Chiliwist unit, bad news is I have never been there, I have some maps on the way so I can figure out what is public and what is private.  I plan to make it over (from Newport) to the unit at least once to check out likely areas, but does anyone have any words of wisdom they would like to share about the unit?  Does this unit have primarily mule deer or is it pretty mixed with whitetails? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to broadcast your tips to the whole site.  Thanks in advance.
