I know where the feel free to hunt in that area is, but could you point me in the right direction of the "state" land your referring to?

Buckman, If you truely do live on the Palouse, just start knocking on doors. Might want to wait 3 0r 4 weeks until harvest is over though. If you don't get permission, just sit on some FFTH all day and you will still fill your tag.

That's not true. It will almost for sure be leased out for farming/grazing, but the leasee cannot post it.
