Early muzzle elk hunt?

Does anyone know were I can go to get on some bulls maybe even still hear them talking at the end of there rut? I'm new to the post just wanted to see others thoughts thanks!   :dunno:

Let me PM you and tell you about all my scouting and exactly where to go....it'll be just a minute.  Hope to see you out there shooting my bull!  In all seriousness you dont have much time before the early season.  You've got one weekend to scout so use it wisely.  Find one of the few GMUs that are open and maybe do some google earth scouting and then hit the road this weekend...if you hunt muzzle deer you can hunt deer during your scouting trip this weekend if you find a GMU that also has an early deer season.

If you want my advise hit the hunting Washington state website find out where the most bulls were killed last year and go there if you just want to see bulls in the rut go to the colockum

Yep the rut up top of the colockum sometimes lasts into october lots of 300+ class bulls up there screaming there heads off. It can be alot of fun :tup:
